OK, a friend just told me about this great site: TisBest Philanthropy. You can buy charity gift cards that allow the recipient to choose where the money goes. Just thought I would pass along this great idea.

I had a thought today about something else I might want/like - a SpinMaster 7-11 Slurpee Maker. However, I've not had any luck locating one online to purchase and the Amazon.com reviews leave a lot to be desired. Maybe I should investigate the ICEE version, but I'm such a purist that really I only want one that says Slurpee and I don't have to manually crank. OK, screw it, I'll just get in the car and drive to 7-11...
