Christmas Wishes #6

Well after a conversation with Tressa, I'm getting around to this posting of Christmas wishes...

I made a very good pork (I know you are suprised I ate pork, right?) dish last weekend and when I went to box up leftovers for Cary, I realized that I don't have much in the way of tupperware or rubbermade. So square-ish containers with not hard to pry off lids would be great.

I could use some placemats for my table - it is a light wood color (oak, maybe, I don't know these things), but really any colors would look nice on it. I like ones that are washable since I'm a spiller.

I currently use an illegal post office tote in the back of my car to hold things, but I think a soft sided one might be more chic in my car. Maybe something like this from Bed Bath & Beyond.

I rarely buy or ask for DVDs, but I saw a commercial for a new Sound of Music 2 disc set which looks good.

I just saw that George Strait is coming to Baltimore in January, so plain old cash towards tickets for the show would be great.

Christmas Wishes #4

ok, here's my 4th shot at getting what I want for Christmas...

• In case I haven't mentioned it before I would love gift certificates to a salon to get a massage; I usually go to Red Door, but would be open to other places.
• Romance novels to keep me busy when I'm not at work
• I would still love a cordless screwdriver or drill or something, but figure this is above the limit so maybe a Home Depot or Sears giftcard.
• ok, this is weird, but I think I would love to have a psychic reading. I don't know how to go about this, but would like to have one.

Christmas Wishes #3

After spending a few painful mornings at Mom's, I realized that I need firm pillows to take with me to other's houses. I'm not picky about brand, but I do like standard sized ones since I don't have queen or king sized pillowcases.

I would also love some plain black socks, not too thick, to wear with the two pairs of shoes I bought this past weekend.

For any industrious souls, I would also love to have my car detailed. Who knew a car could get so dirty in less than a year?

• I need a 2008 planner - I like this kind a lot, but don't buy it from this website - look for it in Marshalls - it will be much cheaper. I like the desktop size: 8"x5.5"
• Giftcards: Michaels, Lane Bryant, IKEA, AMC Movie Theater Pass (available at a discount at AAA),
• winter pajama bottoms: I like these or these
• corduroy pants: these in size 24W, any of the colors
• University of Texas stuff - maybe something for my car
